FAQs
I see the date is already booked on your website, can you cover more than one wedding per day?
No
Who will actually cover my wedding?
I will. If you met with me and enjoyed my work, sending someone else would be inappropriate.
Were not getting married in your area, what about travel charges?
There are no travel charges for events held in the San Antonio and Austin
areas. For locations
outside that area, there may be a charge but only for any actual expenses, and not for travel time.
Do you bring backup equipment?
Yes. three complete camera systems are brought to each event. This includes camera bodies, flashes,
batteries, lenses and any other pieces of equipment that may be needed throughout the course of the day.
How long before I can see my photos?
Your photos are normally available online to you approximately 2-3 weeks after your
wedding. About 2 weeks after they are online you will receive a catalog that you will use to order your photos and albums.
Is there any additional charge for black and white?
Absolutely not. You will get to decide which photos will be converted when
you are ordering from your catalog.
Have you ever been at my venue?
Possibly, and if not there are many samples from similar locations that you may view.
What about touchups?
Sepia, black and white, density and color balancing are free with any photo. Custom touchups for colorization, wrinkles, blemishes, scars, shinny skin, object removal, teeth correction, teeth whitening, adding eyelashes, opening eyes, manicure, etc. are free with any album print and all photos selected for printing as 5x7s and larger. There may be items that we cannot correct for which a lab charge is required before the corrections can be made.
If we don't want the bridal or engagement session and portrait, will the cost of the package go down or can this be replaced with something else?
If you are not having a session and portrait there are various substitutions that can be made
Are we required to select a package when we sign with you?
No, take your time deciding which one works best for you. It is generally good to know what package you want about about 6 weeks prior to the wedding. You are only required to fill in basic information and make a $250 deposit. The deposit does apply to the package you eventually choose.
I am interested in photography and video, do you have any specials for doing both?
You may view sample from both but it is company policy to do photos or video but not both on the same date.
Is there a way you can hold that date for us while we think about it or give us a call if someone wants the same date?
Sorry, there is no date holding. Whoever completes the contract and deposit first gets the date.
Do you use an assistant?
Yes, for the packages that list it. The assistant is an actual photographer, not a "bag carrier".
What if you can't make the wedding?
I have numerous associate photographers that understand my methods well and would replace me in an emergency.
Are you full time or a weekend warrior?
This is extremely full time.
